A Barbie Swimming Pool ~ For Summer Only?

   

 

A Barbie Pool is a great way to have fun with Barbie year round. My daughter received one for Christmas last year, and it proved to be one of her most played with gifts.  

Imagine, a $20 Barbie doll pool beating out that $200 game system.     

I had no idea how she would use it in the winter, but it is just as fun to drag it out on a stormy or snowy day as during the gorgeous summer months.     

The fun of the Barbie Pool was how it became a favorite bath toy. She set her pool up in the tub and climbed in with her favorite dolls.     

Not only did it make bath time more fun, but she got great use out of the Barbie swimming pool every week.     

These pools can also be set up on a hard kitchen floor or patio, so she can stay dry while using it. And kids get very creative while using them, they will use just about any toys in the pool.

When the weather is nice, just about anywhere outdoors will do.  When the pool has water in it, stability is not an issue, you can set it up on grass, dirt, gravel, or anywhere. The plastic is tough, and we have had no punctures no matter where we have set it.

It does depend on which pool you buy, but I was surprised that we had so many pieces with the set when she opened the pool. They    

 

 really make the pool fun, imagining hanging out at a swimming pool became that much easier. And they are all perfect Barbie doll sized.     

The great thing was, it was all simple things, a slide and umbrella, drinks, and little accessories that went together pretty fast, a welcome surprise in this day and age. And Mattel does a great job choosing colors that girls love for these Barbie pools.
